I once had a similar issue with some ailing houseplants. They started looking really sad, just going down hill fast! The other one was not good either. To save them, I combined them and put some fertilizer with them. Worked like a charm, they sprung back to life. Sharing this because, well, sometimes combining forces works, even if it's a gamble! Kind of like level 32 of Moto X3M. Maybe this approach might work here too!
